Hey dolls! I recently picked a few of my favorite essie polishes from my collection for Easter/Spring. Spring is one of my favorite seasons for polish since I adore pastels and essie has so many beautiful pastel polishes to pick from! With that being said I have swatches and reviews of each of the four polishes I picked and I hope that you enjoy them!
Left to right: ‘Splash Of Grenadine’, ‘Salt Water Happy’, ‘Fashion Playground’, and ‘Meet Me At The Altar’
First up is ‘Salt Water Happy’, a sugar-sweet atlantic blue. This polish has an amazing formula and covered perfectly in two coats! This polish came out in last years Summer Collection but I also love this color for Spring/Easter! (I’m actually wearing this color at the moment!)
Next up is ‘Splash Of Grenadine’, a playful magenta pink. In my opinion this polish is a mix of pink/purple and is the perfect color to add a pop to any Easter outfit! This applied in 3 coats with a flawless formula! This color also looks amazing with a matte top coat and darkens to a slightly deeper purple/pink when matte.
My next favorite on the list is ‘Fashion Playground’, a plucky pistachio shimmer (this polish was also included in my top 20 favorite essie polishes post awhile back!) I adore this color and have ever since it came out! The mix of mint and shimmer is enough to leave me adoring this color for eternity! This polish took four coats to cover but could be done in less depending on your application.
Last but not least is ‘Meet Me At The Altar’, a romantic rendezvous lilac. Although this polish takes some effort to apply it is so worth it! This is the ideal Spring/Easter color as its light shimmer and cheerful lilac color are perfect for the time of year. (It took 4 coats to reach opacity in this picture).
I hope you enjoyed this post and that you all have a wonderful Easter! What are some of your favorite Spring/Easter essie polishes?
