I have been getting a lot of requests lately about what some of my favorite products are and what I think every nail artist should have in their tool box! I have compiled a post below that lists out all of the items that I keep in my nail kit so that you can see the products that I use day in and day out to keep my nails looking good! I have included links so that it will take you directly to the site to purchase each product if you are interested!
This is a photo of my actual nail kit! I use a Caboodle that can be found at TJ Maxx, Ulta and Target! I love it because it folds out into three tiers on each side and has one big base on the bottom. This means that there is an ample amount of space for storage! I also love how this kit folds up and locks with a handle at the top so that I can bring it with me if I am doing nails at someone else’s house/area!
Left Side
On the left side of the box I have three tiers each filled with different goodies. In the first tier I have my nail clippers, nail files, cuticle clean up brush, acetone dish, my favorite Twinkled T nail art brush, and cuticle pushers! This is the spot that I use the most as it has my main everyday products.
In the tier below this I keep an assortment of nail art brushes that I have picked up from various places over the years! Some are from Winstonia others are from Michaels and other craft stores that I use for nail brushes!
Below this I have my heavy duty nail files including three glass files that were sent to me by Aveniro, a glass nail file company. I also have my buffer that I use when I have a rough patch on my nail that I need to even out.
Middle
In the bottom part of my took kit I keep an assortment of things like nail brush cleaner, nail polish remover, nail sponges, nail vinyls, base coats, top coats, cuticle oils, and latex barrier.
- Nail Brush Cleaner
- 100% Acetone Nail Polish Remover
- Cosmetic Sponges
- Twinkled T Nail Vinyls
- Whats Up Nails Nail Vinyls
- essie Apricot Cuticle Oil
- My Bliss Kiss Latex Barrier
- Seche Vite Clear Base Coat
- Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat
- essie Platinum Grade Top Coat
Right Side
Moving to the right side of my box we have the top row that is filled with cute nail files that I have added to my collection over the years as well as toe separators.
- I don’t have any links for these as they are just small things I have picked up over a long period of time from various places.
Below this I have my Burts Bees Cuticle Cream, cuticle clippers, and pointed Q tips to help clean up my cuticles!
- Burts Bees Cuticle Cream
- Pointed Q Tips
- My cuticle clippers are from Tj Maxx so I don’t have a link for those!
Last but not least is my compartment that has all of my gemstones and striping tape!
- Twinkled T Nail Tape
- The Nail Studs are also from Twinkled T but they currently are not on their website
That’s a wrap on what I keep inside my tool box! If you have any questions about the products or their uses feel free to DM me! I hope that this information came in handy and that the links to the products made it easy to shop some of my favorite items!
You’re a genius! I have a case like this that I put backup makeup products in. Probably a waste of space considering it’s only partly full, and I have the same nail supplies as you spread out in three different plastic containers. I think you have just changed my world! I have a small plastic caddy I use for manicures so I can move it easily from room to room, and I always think of my sturdy metal case as something that should sit in a corner. No more!

If anyone is the genius here it’s you! I think you should definitley look into using your metal case! They have so much room so it makes organization a breeze!

I used to have a smaller Caboodle but I ran out of room to store my polishes!
Now I have a little cosmetic pouch for “on the go” manicures but also it stores my orange sticks, cuticle pushers, and top and base coats.
