essie TLC 2018 Release

The essie polish team recently added 18 knockout shades to their already amazing Treat Love & Color line. If you have been following my page for awhile you know that I am a huge fan of this line and will recommend it to anyone who asks me for a nail strengthener. For those of you who aren’t familiar with this line the TLC polishes are a nail strengthener that also has color! Most strengtheners for your nails are clear and look just like a regular base coat when applied but the TLC shades range from light pink all the way to a deep rose and that is what makes this line so unique. Not only are your nails getting stronger but you can wear color at the same time instead of a colorless clear coat! To see the newest additions to this line check out the rest of my post below!

See The Light – A reflective ivory beige

Time To Unwind – A shadow pink warmed red shimmer

Tonal Taupe – A beige taupe hinting with golden highlights

Tone It Up – An enigmatic plum taupe

Work For The Glow – A aurora pink with fuchsia shimmer

Gloss Fit – An ultra glossy clear

I am over the moon excited about these additions since the TLC line has been a saving grace for me. When the first three sheer colors dropped I started to use ‘Sheers To You’ as a base underneath all of my essie polishes. No matter if I wore Gel Couture or the regular essie line I kept a TLC base coat underneath and let me tell you it worked wonders for my nails! Not only did I have less breakage but my polish was lasting longer and my nails felt stronger than ever before. If you are interested in purchasing from this line click here to see my amazon picks, which includes the TLC Collection!

I did this blog post a bit different than most and didn’t swatch any polishes but instead showed photos of all 18 shades released and a color explanation underneath each one. The purpose of this is to have you guys tell me what shades you would like to see swatched first! Since there are so many new polishes released in this line it would be difficult to swatch them all at once so I want to hear your feedback on what ones you want to see swatches and comparisons of first. In order to let me know your picks please DM me on Instagram or comment on my latest Instagram post. I will look at what colors get the most requests and will pick six of them to swatch within the week! I hope you enjoyed this post and I can’t wait to see what polishes you pick!

The products in the top photos of this post were sent to me by essie, however this post was all my personal opinion. #essiepartner

  1. I would love to see In the Balance, Mauve-tivation, See the Light, Time to Unwind and Work for the Glow.

Time to Unwind sort of looks like Sable Collar in the bottle, so I am excited for that one.

In Norway, Loving Hue and Tonal Taupe are available. I haven’t tried Tonal Taupe, but Loving Hue is not a good match for cool toned, pale hands, though 1 coat looks OK.

  2. I’m so excited for all of these. I have can’t hardly weight and time to unwind, but I want more! Can you please swatch mint condition and see the light please!
