essie Spring Collection 2018 ‘Bon Boy-Age’

This years Spring Collection was made to make sure your nails are ready to sail off on your next adventure! We had over a foot of snow last week so it’s hard for me to think that spring is even close to being here so for now I’ll just have to live vicariously through these polishes until it warms up! I have a feeling you guys are going to love this collection just as much as I do and I can’t wait to share it with you!

From left to right: ‘Perfect Mate’, ‘Pass-Port to Sail’, ‘Anchor Down’, ‘At the Helm’, ‘Bon Boy-Age’, and ‘Stripes and Sails’.

This collection is currently available on Amazon as well as at other local retailers. I have linked each polish below so click on the blue text if you are interested in purchasing a polish #amazoninfluencer

First up is ‘Pass-Port to Sail’, a soft sandy beige lightly splashed in ivory shimmer. This polish was very sheer and took three coats to cover. The ivory shimmer embedded within the polish gives your nails a pearl like look.

‘Bon Boy-age’, is a nautical mint green. This took two coats to cover and is my favorite polish from this release. I’m a sucker for mint greens and I already know I am going to be wearing this one all spring and summer.

‘Perfect Mate’ is a pristine pop of coral pink. This was the one that I thought was the least unique from the collection but was still gorgeous and applied smoothly.

‘Anchor Down’ is a preppy blue washed with pewter gray undertones. This was my second favorite and could have been applied in one coat but I did two. This is a great transition shade from winter to spring because of the deep undertones in the polish.

Next is ‘At The Helm’, a fire orange tinged with salmon red. I applied three thin coats to build this one up to the deep orange that it is. I was surprised by how much I liked this one once it was on the nail and think that it will look great with a tan this summer.

Last we have ‘Stripes and Sails’, an intense teal green. This one applied like a dream and took two coats to get this vivid teal color.

Here is a photo of all six polishes side by side!

I seriously loved everything about this collection. I was a big fan of all six polishes and the dusty undertones in each made these all very unique to my collection. I was also very excited that this collection didn’t have a red polish because it made way for more unique colors. My favorites out of the six were ‘Bon Boy-Age’, ‘Anchor Down’, and ‘Stripes and Sails’. These are currently available at local retailers and online so that you can pick them up now! Let me know what polishes you are loving from this release over on my Instagram!

The products in this post were sent to me by essie, however this post was all my personal opinion. #essiepartner
