Each year essie comes out with a special collection just in time for summer. Last year it was the Wild Nudes Collection and this year the essie team is dazzling us with the Seaglass Shimmers Collection featuring six shimmering shades.

First up we have ‘Don’t Be Salty’, a glistening sandy beige. The hint of shimmer in this one is just enough to amplify this nude polish from a plain jane to a must have!
‘Coral Coast’ is a glittering coral polish. This took three thin coats and is going to be my go to once I am tan this summer!
Next is ‘High Tides & Dives’, a bronzed nude with copper undertones. After three thin coats this polish turns into a bronzed beauty.
‘At Sea Level’ is a light blue with sea foam shimmer. This took three thin coats and is perfect for a tropical vacation or a day at the beach!
‘The World Is Your Oyster’ is a lilac purple with periwinkle opalescence. This polish took three thin coats and is seriously stunning on the nail.
The last polish in the collection is ‘You, Me & The Sea’, a magnetic pink with orchid purple sparkle. This polish took two thin coats and is a bright pink perfect for a special occasion! If any of you ladies are getting married soon this might be a good polish for a summer bachelorette party!

This collection has a never seen before shimmer formula that is not like any of the other polishes in the current essie selection. Each shade has a pearl shimmer embedded within to give off a glass-like shimmer that is reminiscent of sea glass. Due to the shimmer formula some of these polishes did take more coats than usual but the outcome makes it worth it. My favorites from this release are ‘Don’t Be Salty’, ‘At Sea Level’, and ‘You, Me & The Sea’. These polishes are currently available at your local retailers and online, however they are limited edition so make sure to purchase them while you still can!
