CURRENT EVERYDAY MAKEUP ROUTINE

I have never been one to go over the top on my makeup but I still like to follow a routine in the morning to get a barely there look. I have recently been playing around with some new products and I wanted to share with you what I have been using when I get ready in the morning! Disclaimer* during this stay at home order I have definitely not been getting ready with makeup every morning but it truly does make me feel better and more put together so some days I have been applying it because it makes me happy!

I have been starting with this glass skin primer from lorac and holy crap it is a serious game changer. This makes my skin so much more hydrated and I swear it has been making all of the difference and makes the rest of my makeup look 1000% better. If you splurge on anything from this post this would be my number one recommendation!

 

This lorac long-wear foundation feels super light-weight on the skin and is buildable so I can put on as little or as much as I want. I am shade four light which is good if you have lighter skin with olive undertones, I could probably also go to shade 3 if I wasn’t using face tanning drops which add a bit of extra color to my face! These are the face tanning drops I have been using, I use two to three drops of the light/medium!

 

This is the lorac soft focus long-wear concealer. I have this in shade light 1.5 and shade light 3.5 and use both depending on how pale/tan my skin is! This has great coverage and easily blends into the skin.

 

I have been using the clinique face powder since I was in high school. This is my true tried and true powder and is probably one of my longest used products!

 

Over the past year or so I have really become obsessed with liquid blush. It applies so smoothly and I love how it shows up on my cheeks! I am not one who is afraid of a bit of cheek color so I build it up but if you just want a small glow you can just apply a smaller amount! This is the best liquid blush I have tried for it’s price point!

 

I sometimes also apply a bit of the NARS blush in the shade orgasm for a bit of added color and because of the shimmer embedded in it!

 

I have a thing for a nude lip so I am always happy when I find a new go-to shade. This is the MAC matte lipstick in kinda sexy.

 

So this loreal lash paradise primer was actually an accidental purchase during the holidays! I thought I was purchasing a two pack of the lash paradise mascara and got home and realized one of them was primer! I had never used a primer before but figured I would give it a try and it is seriously life changing! 

 

Sometimes you just find a good mascara and you know you like it right away. The tarte maneater mascara is super volumizing and the packaging makes it one of the cutest things in my makeup drawer!

 

I still remember when I was in college and went into the Ulta in North Carolina with zero idea how to color in my brows and the in store makeup artist told me this benefit pencil was the way to go and she wasn’t wrong! I have been using this for years in shade three and love how it just adds a little extra to my eyebrows and helps define them!

 

I also use the glossier boy brow pomade in brown because it adds a bit more definition and keeps my brows in place all day long!
