If you are in to bright corals, deep berries, or someone who likes a lighter polish you are in luck because the sunset soiree collection has it all!
From left to right: ‘chiffon the move’, ‘atelier at the bay’, ‘sunset soiree’, ‘sequins on the rocks’, and ‘low tide high slit’.
“when the sun goes down, essie heats things up with six new long-lasting longwear gel couture nail polish shades. the essie sunset soirée collection offers glamorous, long-lasting color with a luxurious, high-shine finish guaranteed to get you noticed on the dance floor.” – essie
‘chiffon the move’ is an elegant ivory polish. I used three thin coats to get this payoff. This polish is more on the sheer side and does take multiple coats if you want to build it up more. If you are looking for a barely there look you could use one or two coats! This would be really pretty for a summer wedding!
‘atelier at the bay’ is a soft and sophisticated yellow. This one is my favorite from the collection! I used three thin coats but could have gotten away with two as well. This is such a light and dainty yellow and can look more cream/ivory colored depending on the lighting. If you are only going to get one polish from this collection I would say this is a must have!
‘sunset soiree’ is a blazing orange-red. This took two coats and has really nice coverage. If you want a nice pop on your nails this one does the trick!
‘sequins on the rocks’ is a mesmerizing-yet-muted berry. This is the perfect polish to take into the fall season. This one took two coats and applied beautifully!
‘low tide high slit’ is a classy camel. If you want to invest in a polish that can be worn year round and is super versatile this is the one!
My favorites from the collection are ‘chiffon the move’ and ‘atelier at the bay’! I have been loving lighter polishes this summer and these two fit the bill! There is one more polish in the collection, ‘coastal couture’, that is a bright coral that I do not have so was unable to swatch. essie just announced these colors are all going to be a permanent part of the gel couture line so they are here to stay!
